Neat Air and Heat

Back in January, my unit was on its last leg and needed to be replaced. After a few quotes from various companies, I decided to go with Ben and his team at Neat Air and Heat due to his professionalism, emphasis on craftsmanship, and attentiveness to my needs. He explained in great detail the various replacement options and walked me through the process as my wife and I are total outsiders to this world. After his explanations, I felt comfortable with my decision and confident that his team knew what I needed. Due to my crazy work schedule, I only had a specific window of time that would work for me, however, Ben was able to make his schedule align with mine on short notice to make it work. On the day of installation, Ben and his team arrived promptly and began right away. Throughout the day, my wife would bring them hot coffee as it was incredibly cold that day (for Florida standards), but no matter what, their attitude was nothing short of positive. Once everything was complete, Ben again walked me through the job and showed me the “before and after” to make sure I understood everything that took place. Right off the bat, I was impressed at the quality of work as it was apparent that the original unit was installed in a rush and on a tight budget. I think the most memorable moment of the experience was when I was having some user-inflicted issues with my Nest thermostat. Even at 11PM, Ben was able to remotely walk me through troubleshooting steps to get me going again. I’d like to consider myself a technical person so I was embarrassed to reach out for help, but Ben reassured me everything was okay. Additionally, he said “with this installation, I’m yours for a year” which provided me peace of mind in the event something else comes up. All in all, I would highly recommend Neat Air and Heat to anyone looking for a maintenance job or a full fledged overhaul. They will forever be our go-to HVAC professionals.

Being fairly new to the area when my ac broke down I didn't really know who to call. Neat Air was recommended to me by a co-worker. Ben was really great with my a/c replacement. He walked me through the entire process, answered all of my questions without making me feel annoying, and I could tell he knew what he was talking about. Ben was the only person who came to my house who actually looked at my ducts. He ended up sealing a bunch of them so my air wouldn't keep leaking in my attic. New unit works great. Really happy I chose to hire these guys!
