Excellence: Bishop's Home Renovation and Repair I recently had the pleasure of hiring Bishop's Home Renovation and Repair for a comprehensive renovation of my two-story home. I cannot praise them enough for their exceptional work. From start to finish, their professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail wow’d me. The scope of work included beautifully installed new floors throughout the house, transforming the look and feel of my home, along with freshly painted walls and elegant molding that added a touch of sophistication to every room. They skillfully removed a wall between the living room and kitchen, enhancing an open-concept design, and eliminated a non-load-bearing pole, which opened up the space even further. The standout professional aspects of working with the Bishop's was their seamless collaboration with the project engineer. They effectively navigated the city approval process, which significantly expedited our timeline. When they encountered an unexpected major structural issue with the back wall of the house, they tackled it head-on. Their team restructured the entire wall, ensuring it was safe and sound—an absolute necessity given the potential for severe weather on the Florida coast. Additionally, they installed five new sliding glass doors, doing their best to save me money on the cost of impact windows and the installation. That alone showcased their commitment to fairness, quality, and safety. The team also replaced my outdated popcorn ceilings with stunning wood ceilings throughout the home. They are expert artists of their craft! The Bishop’s also went above and beyond by preserving some of the original materials, such as large white blinds, which they creatively repurposed as bedroom closet doors. They replaced all the builder-grade doors with beautiful solid wood ones and installed new hardware, elevating the overall aesthetic of the home. They also handled all electrical work flawlessly, from moving switches to adding all new electrical, recessed lighting, backlit mirrors, and ceiling fans! Furthermore, they installed new bathroom cabinets, built floor to ceiling bookcases, corner desks, kitchen island, shelves, and cut a kitchen countertop slab, showcasing their versatility and skill. Jason Bishop and all the Bishop family treated the rehab of my home as if it were their own. They didn’t do anything halfway or cut corners. Every task was completed to code, with a commitment to doing everything right. Their dedication to quality and thoroughness was evident in every detail of the project.
