Precise Remodeling

i I hired Precise Remodeling to build a pool foley. I paid to much too fast. The started of the job was postponed almost another month after I paid the downpayment . They worked a few days and needed more money and then a couple of more days and needed more money. At this point they might have been 50% done, except the structure wasn't to plan, not square or level and the excuses started coming, over 45 during the next three months. It was always going to be the next day. The homeowners couldn't get permanent financing because the project wasn't complete. This was a $5,500 project of which $5,000 was paid and not 50% complete. Smallwood finally came to the project site and said they "underbid the job " and I owed them $1,300 for what I don"t know. I provided, per the contract, all materials. They could have completed the job with no out of pocket expenses, just their labor. What if they overbid the job would they refund the excess profits? This is an example of what you see on TV with unscrupolus contractors. Don't hire people like this-these are criminals! I had to tear down a portion of their work and pay other honest contractors to complete the work.
