The solid raised panel sides and the wood doors include moulded bead board panel accents. The backs of the open spaces are made from individual solid rustic maple bead board slat mouldings. The Anderson Bar | Mar 2014 | This project was conceived and designed for a doctor living in Grand Island Nebraska. His dream of having the "ultimate home bar" in his basement began last July and led him to The Artisan Shop 400 miles away in Northern Colorado. At The Artisan Shop we quickly determined that this would be a great project to display at the 2014 winter Home and Garden Show in Denver. This show has an attendance of over 60,000 people during a nine-day run. The doctor was generous enough to allow us to display the dream bar and we were confident that this project would be unlike any seen before at the show. The bar measures 11'x13'x9'h, is stained and glazed and includes every feature that we and our client could dream up. Large cove-crown molding with inlaid beadboard accent, custom leaded-glass panels, 8 flip-up canopy doors with Blum Aventos servo-controlled actuators, wire grate doors in the canopy, metal ceiling tiles with concealed accent lights, beveled glass mirrors, an LED-lit bottle shelf by Element Designs, an integrated flat screen TV, a fully functional custom porcelain beer tap stand with keg beer flowing live at the show, a tile back splash, leathered granite counter-tops, a custom wood top with an 8/4 hickory molded bar rail, recessed mat tray, under-top lighting inside and out, full appliance package including microwave, ice maker, dishwasher, sink, glass front wine chiller, a wine bottle storage cabinet with scalloped hickory bottle holders, X-panel bottle section, and a lit angled bottle display shelf, raised paneled bar front wall with stepped shelf and an oil-rubbed bronze foot rail.... and of course a custom Artisan Shop neon bar light for the show! | $45k | Grand Island, NE | |
