If I could give ZERO stars, I would! One of the worst experiences I've had with a property management company!! My security deposit was wrongfully withheld by this company due to my refusal to sign a release of future liability! A landlord cannot make the return of a security deposit contingent upon a signature on a release of liability of any kind, as that is COERCION which is a violation of Macon-Bibb Code of Ordinances, Sec 6-50. They are also in violations of the county's Pest Control codes, Macon-Bibb Code of Ordinances, Sec 5-42, 12-132. I only lived there about a year and a half, but that's how badly we were affected! They're worried that our health was so badly affected by their negligence of the property and the mold, pests, and accidents that took place due to their negligence and delay to repair that they're trying to coerce me into signing away my rights and are trying to force me to relieve them of their responsibility. The building is infested with mold, cockroaches, rats, raccoons, opossums, feral cats, and fleas, no one answers the after hours emergency number and voicemail messages along with emails and messages in their online system frequently go unanswered! When the landlord is found liable for these violations in court, which they will be...that's why they're refusing to return my security deposit without my signature on a RELEASE of FUTURE LIABILITY...the landlord will be required to pay a fine to the county as well, according to Macon-Bibb Code of Ordinances, Sec 1-6, 12. I suggest no one deal with this company, unless they want to have to go to court to get any kind of justice!
