Bricker Construction Model

My home, Fresno county, was built by Bricker in 2005. The owner is rude, inconsiderate, and made the whole building process a nightmare. As a first time homeowner, I was not throughly educated by the company. I specifically told them I needed a gas stove (county) they installed electric. Four months later I bought a gas stove & had someone install it, since Bricker said it was my fault. Yeah! I've lived in the country all my life. I've been having plumbing problems, toilets are loose & were actually installed crooked. The master bedroom does not warm or cool as good as the other rooms. I was told I should have 2 ac unit, since the house is big 2742 sq ft. I couldn't afford that so I just sucked it up. Now I'm told by a PG&E home energy contractor that the 2 ducts need to be upgraded (too small) and insulation is missing in some areas - master being one. I did contact Bricker, was told I should have brought these up in walk thru, really! It takes time to notice these. I would have liked to go with GJ Gardener but at that time they were expensive. But now they are just as reasonable as Bricker prices. And much better quality appliances/accessories, which many by the way have since been replaced at my cost. And there are more builders available now. My advice - stay away from Bricker!
