If you are thinking about hiring Omega to handle any property or property management issues you have, I suggest you look elsewhere. For over 12 years, I've lived in a condo association that uses Omega for property management; they have not been pro-active (about anything), they do not follow through or follow up, they do not use competitive bidding and I know first-hand that their accounting practices are - at best - questionable, they are not transparent or forthcoming about anything, they do not provide basic property maintenance (the exterior appearance of our community embarrasses me; winter snow removal and maintenance has been poor to non-existent), and in general the majority of vendors they use/hire are unprofessional and cheap. I often feel victimized by Omega's practices and that feeling re-surfaces every single time I step out my front door.

They charge way to much for fees when trying to sell a home. They make 10% off the association dues (based on their financials) then charge to get documents that should be available as part of that fee. If you know anyone looking at a Management company stay away!!! charge $150 for a letter saying you are current on association dues, then say we don't make any money on this!! There really should be laws to protect people against companies like this. RUN and RUN FAST if you see these people running an associations

After 10 years with a different management company, our new townhouse association board decided to switch to Omega. What a mistake!! Omega was unresponsive to homeowners and appeased the board members by allowing them to take actions that were in direct conflict with our Association By-Laws. We are no longer with Omega and I would not recommend that any association work with them.

I wish the rating was just poor and not poor to fair because this is even beyond poor on the bad side. Omega management just seems like a money hungry company with no regard to clients it serves. We live in a townhome complex that Omega Management is the home owners association for and repeatedly I have complains that are not addressed. Worst is that Omega management increases the association fee every year without any improvement in services what so ever. They have done a horrible job with snow removal this year and it has been over a month and the hard ice build up on the inner streets has caused us a lot of grief. My driveway is all hard ice and even salt does not help. I have slipped a couple of times and just hoping not to get injured seriously. This is just the minimum of their lack of responsibility. I have already complained to BBB once about these people and they responded with useless letter of explanation that justified their horrible fee structure with phony expenses that for the most part I did not see happen. I also checked with some independent businesses about whether it really costs as much as they are proclaiming their operating expenses and they did not agree. Clearly someone's pockets are getting heavier at the expense of common hard working American middle class.
