We are pleased to write the strongest possible review of APM Custom Homes and the team that built our amazing, custom home in beautiful Marco Island, FL. The home buying (or building) process can be extremely stressful. Making the decision to buy an existing home versus building is tough. After spending time looking at local houses on the island and researching local builders, we decided to move forward with purchasing an APM Custom home. After the purchase the APM team was extraordinarily responsive to our needs. They worked with us for almost a year to fine tune our home. Our home was in the direct path of hurricane Irma in 2017. The builders reassured us that the home was built like a fortress and we would not have an issue. Upon arriving back on the island after the hurricane, we had a few tears in our pool screen but that was it. Truly unbelievable! After having lived in the home for almost two years now, they still make themselves available to answer questions and make recommendations. APM Custom Homes has a solid reputation for delivering an excellent product and our family would highly recommend any their homes.

Started a home on Marco Island, FL in June of 2015 with APM Custom Homes. I coverted the building permit to my name in February of 2018 in order to finish the home enough to secure a C of O. In a lawsuit now. We should have listened to those who said APM left them with many defects and issues. The home looked/looks great from the street wow, but had many defects on the inside. Necessary to replace 2800sqft of expensive bamboo flooring due to the fact the contractor admiddedly never acclemented it according to the manufactures requirements. Cost approximately $60,000. (Not finished yet‼️) Due to extreme water intrusion below the pool deck, and the fact the contractor refused after numerous request it install a vapor barrier prior to installing the stone decking, it was necessary to remove the decking and install the needed vapor membrane and replace the deck. Cost $55,000+. Still dealing with issues to finish the home. Expect the cost to approach $200,000 to finish. This not to mention the lost time value of the home that was to be a 12 month buildout.
