We have a high ceiling (13 +) where there is existing wiring- it looks like the former owners of the house intended to install a light fixture or fan but never did- the wiring is capped off but an electrician has told us it is good to go for a fan. The ceiling is on an angle with two beams and sheet rock in between. The fixture is on a beam but it is not centered in the room- the install would be to install the fan in the center (where sheetrock is) which would require bringing the wiring about 2 away from the beam and installing a support for the fan on the sheetrock
moving existing ceiling fan from one side of ceiling to the middle of ceiling. Need new electric box in center of room and then run electric wires from one box to other. Move existing fan and I will patch ceiling.
