Greenway Home Services' philosophy and the key to its success over the past decade is simple. Treat your customers how you would want to be treated. We do not have a complex formula of why we have continued to grow with leaps and bounds a company that started with one single man running service out of his truck to provide for his family. Whit Greenway, the CEO of Greenway Home Services, started as a service technician in Memphis in 1978. As a young man he was sharp with his knowledge of the trade, but he was a natural people person. He showed up when he said he was going to, he always did what he said he would and he never made promises he could not keep. We know that no person is perfect, but it is how he quickly addressed any mistake that put him above the rest. After the company he worked for was sold to a large corporation, Whit's position as service manager was terminated. He took nearly no time to weigh his options with his livelihood and with a wife and two little girls at home he quickly decided to open the doors to his own company, Home Care Services, in the fall of 1989. By constantly treating his customers how he wanted to be treated and with years of hard work and sacrifices Whit Greenway grew his company into one of the Mid South's largest service companies. Still to this day, but now under the name Greenway Home Services, customers new and old remember that young man that started it all. Our team is constantly trained not only to be able to be the best at their trade skill, but to keep performing the Greenway philosophy. In the Southern term, the proof is in the pudding. As a company we strive to not only meet our customer's expectations, but to exceed them with exceptional service. Greenway Home Services now runs over 40,000 calls a year, has a second location in Nashville and has a team of over 100 dedicated staff members. One man with a simple business model and philosophy has created and built a company that services our customers for life. We are not a onetime service your home type of operation. We want to be the company you trust when your family is in need. We take pride in the service we provide and we want you to be satisfied. We know that in today's busy world that the old-fashioned rule of customer service is not always given.
