These guys are crooks! I do not believe these guys have a license, bonding or insurance. I hired Ernest Johnson Jr. to build a fence, seal some concrete and do some yard work. I was very unhappy. He did not build the fence the way it was contracted to be done. He then tried to charge me more to do it the way it was discussed and written on our contract. When he came in for the final payment on the fence I told him that the gate was not level and that it would not close properly. He said that he would fix it. I have now tried to get him on the phone for three days and he will not respond. He tried to get me to pay him for the work that he had not finished and got angry when I didn't give it to him. I have since done research (which I should have done prior to hiring him to do this $5500 in work) and found that to the best of my ability to search, neither Crystal Clear nor Earnest Johnson Jr. are licensed to do work in the state of Tennessee. I did have the forethought to ask for a Certificate of Insurance, which Ernest assured me would be emailed to me from Mr. Skip Bridgeforth. I never received the Certificate of Insurance. I plan to file a grievance with The State of Tennessee and the BBB against Mr. Ernest Johnson, Jr. and Crystal Clear Window Cleaning for doing business without a license and deceptive business practices. The least I can do is to insure that no one else gets duped by this crook!
