Alicia started her career in 1989 at age 25. She was one of the very first Latina agents in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Her career started with C21 Action Realty where she quickly became the top producer, closing over 60 units during her second year in Real Estate. She started a team concept that was unheard of in Texas. “The Alicia Trevino Team” was born and her bold, ahead of their time, marketing moves were as well. These include using her picture riders on signs and using buyers agents to show property, something that is now the norm in the marketplace. She was also the number one agent for all Century 21 offices in Texas by the age of 30. Breaking all boundaries and being named as one of the rising stars in the real estate industry. Alicia focused on the first time Hispanic buyer, recognizing this was an underserved market and capitalizing on her bilingual skills. Alicia’s foresight to focus on this demographic launched her career to levels even Alicia hadn’t dreamed of. Alicia was recruited by Coldwell Banker, a local startup company, who Opened an office in Mesquite to attract her talent in 1995. During her time there, she was named one of the top 10 agents in the nation at the age of 35. By this point, Alicia had a closing coordinator, a listing coordinator, and four showing agents. The team achieved numbers that no one in the real estate industry had heard of, becoming one of the strongest teams in the nation and starting the new era of real estate. The success of the team concept meant that everyone wanted to replicate it.
