Sunrise Fence

Sunrise has completed two fence sections for us and both have been a pleasant experience. The second job took a little longer than the first to get scheduled because of Covid but completed in a timely manor when started. The second section borders three of my neighbors and all were pleased of the work.

Do yourself a favor and find a real professional. Make sure you know *who* will actually do the installation and that you have direct contact with someone who can address any issues that arise. Sunrise was an awful company to work with. The only part of the process that was easy was completing the sale. That, and processing our payment (the day before the installation even started!), was the last time they showed up on time or executed something correctly. Installation process was poorly executed - from mediocre workmanship to a slow installation, delayed in part due to a lack of properly including the correct supplies for the project. Installer was polite, but clearly not experienced nor thoughtful about his work or the impact to our home environment. They didn't show up when they said they would and communication throughout was very poor. Calls to the corporate office were met with clueless responses because, it turns out, our installer was a contract who was doing his own thing and only loosely affiliated with the company we actually paid to do the work. We followed up with the company directly on specific concerns and got an "oh, well" response that tried to be somewhat empathetic but ultimately never offered to correct the issues. However, we understand that sometimes things go sideways and are handled poorly for different reasons, and certainly don't want to diminish the reputation of a growing small business because we believe that the owner probably cares at some level but is simply inexperienced at managing these issues. It's been ~3 months since installation and now the freshly installed gate is sagging. We can clearly see it's sagging because the gate was attached to an old post, while we specifically requested, and expected, it to be installed on fresh wood. We contacted Sunrise today to report the sag and asked them to correct it, and got a response that was completely dismissive. We're 100% done with Sunrise and would never contact them for anything. If this is the best fencing company around, we'll learn to do it ourselves next time. EDIT: Sunrise contacted us and offered to look at the sagging gate. At this point, we have elected not to continue doing business with them.

Be careful when using Sunrise, after using them at our previous home and recommending them to many people, we called them again to fence in our new house. When I ordered the fence I was told a wooden fence was ok, but soon after the developer changed requirements and only will allow white vinyl. This was only several weeks after I placed my order and put down a deposit of $1600. when I called they refused to refund me any of my deposit even though our fence wasn't scheduled to be installed for 2 more months. They clam they had already ordered and received my fence material, when I ask what they will do with the fence since I cant have it installed they had no answer. I am very disappointed with sunrise in their lack of understanding and wiliness to help. Being out $1600 really hurts.

Sunrise Fence installed an aluminum fence around our pool. The result was awesome! Looks great and we had no issues with the quote, timing, and execution. I asked for a gate to be reversed and they showed up the next day.
