B & G Cabinet LLC

Now that we have used B & G, I can understand the other poor reviews that they received on their site. Multiple issues. Cathy S. was great at answering questions and emails--until the sale was made, then not so much. They ask you to pay- in -full for the cabinets a week before delivery--big mistake. Our delivery time came and the only employee that makes the deliveries was on vacation--really? And they asked us to make sure that our construction crew was there to "help" with the delivery. Cathy's layout design was fine but very similar to and not better than others that we had received. Even though the cabinets were more expensive than another company's, we decided to go with Cathy and her expertise. However, multiple measuring mistakes were made, causing the contractors headaches and numerous delays in our project. When a cabinet would not "fit", they did not acknowledge their mistake and refused to reimburse us (although multiple professionals concurred that B&G was at fault). Cathy did not even order the hardware for our cabinets correctly! We later found out (after the fact) that another neighbor had also used this company and when there was an issue, they had to fight for what they had ordered and already paid for. Not a great way to do business. I realize that there can be issues with any project but I expect honesty from a business when they mess up and a willingness to make it right--without a fight. We would never recommend this company. Wish we had known about our neighbor's experience BEFORE we had signed on.....which is why I am writing this review.

I am very very disappointed in the results of my cabinets. I bought the high end Grenfeild cabinets, which are beautiful, however the designer took the safe route and did not give me cabinets that could have been taller. The $800 lazy Susan is rediculous. It's so tiny and looks like a $50 cutting board that spins. B and G does not have much current stock, I believe deliberately so you will order things like the lazy Susan that is a tip off. The install was a disaster as well. The installer never cleaned up leaving mess after mess. Cabinets were put in too low then crooked. He used a cutting saw in the house while paint was happening. I would go anywhere else other than B and G.
