Same as all others. Chris Valint is a thief! He took my deposit of $5500 for a roofing job on my Buffalo home. No response after I cancelled the contract the following morning. He cashed my deposit check while the ink was drying. Now, I am waiting like all the others for my refund. This is serious money and he knows that. My phone calls and texts to Valint go into a black hole. I have a pending court date in Niagara County small claims court in November. I will pursue this until I am paid back in full. I also have Call for Action involved. I am frustrated, hurt and very disappointed. However, I believe that God will restore what the enemy has stolen/ taken from me.

I would actually give a BIG FAT ZERO for my review score. Same as everyone else, he took our money and never showed to work. After at least 20 phone calls, he said he would be by in two (2) days to return funds and never showed again. Now we are expending our precious time and energy to file a small claims court suit. And of course, I can't file in my town, I have to file in his town almost an hour away. But we are not going to let this scum continue his fraudulent ways!

The previous Reviewer is 100% correct above/below, Chris is an absolute fraud. The money we provided for materials and labor to cover costs of other things that are not tied to our project by Chris, its very evident. This was subcontracted through another builder who is reputable (Feel bad that they had to put their Logo and Reputation on the line for them) in Clarence, NY. This has been an ongoing 9 month project for full exterior overhaul of our home. New siding, new soffits, new trim, new gutters, new windows, and much more. Beginning of project was great, communicative & responsive, and very professional. For the work they did, it is quality but the biggest problem is they do not finish projects. As time went on over the course of the 9 months, that tune changed with lack of responsiveness, going weeks without showing up, using every excuse possible to prolong while I had already paid a majority of the materials, labor, and costs close to 90%. Never met a contractor who is a fair-weather Crew that cannot work in forecasted Rain, when it doesnt...and even on perfect days for contractors to do jobs they still do not show up. As of today (7/2/21), , gutters that were "ordered and to be delivered back in April per Chris still have not made their way to our property. Technically they were ready back in March according to Chris. That was a lie as he never ordered them and used that money for other things. Siding project is not complete along with Trim not complete on outside. ABSOLUTE nightmare and extremely unprofessional, regardless of his personal complexities. It has been a run around and ghosting when he would commit to come. Threatened with a civil suit, will get a quick text back confirming he will be there the next day and then of course a rinse & repeat of no show/no call. We have been patient, understanding, and benefit of the doubt but it has now left us any choice other than to file a claim against this business for a job not finished after a 9 months scope currently. We paid for materials in full and still do not have all of that along with the project undone. Do not use, Do not recommend, Do not Trust. I see it has happened to others now that we are looking more into this situation and its sad. Hope him and his crew can get back on the up & up on a straight arrow but does not appear so. Smoke and mirrors.

Chris had done a lot of work for me in the past. He has installed 2 separate fences at two different locations. He built a Garage/Shed, Put on a new roof, built a porch. Sometimes it might take him a while to finish the project as he would commit to other projects but for the most part it would get done... Until this last time. I wanted to fence in our Driveway. I called him in October 2019 to give me a quote. He quoted me $2800. He said he could start the following Saturday. My wife wrote him a check for $1600 to buy the supplies. (Same MO as in the past, so wasn't concerned) He showed up and put in half the Fence posts. We spoke and we talked about extending the fence a little more. He said it would be another $900. So we are now at $3700.00. He came back and installed all the fence post but 1. He asked if he could get $700 to pay his guys for the work so far(Again has done this before) So he was given $2300 of the 3700 he quoted. He stopped showing up. He would never answer his phone unless I called from a number he didn't recognize. He had left a lot of his tools in my garage so I assumed he would eventually come back but He would text that they would be over on a specific day and then he wouldn't show. This went on for quite a while. I called him in April 2020 and surprisingly he answered. He said he was coming back to finish the job. He came and set the last fence post. He took his nicer tools and has responded since. I had at one point considered him a friend. I had to go out and buy the supplies myself and finished the fence on my own. I am now filing a smalls claim against him to get my money back.
