Mr. Marras in unreliable. Do not hire him to move an instrument. He won't necessarily do the work he agrees to do, and he won't even let you know that he decided not to do it. I made arrangements with him, in the spring of 2017, to move my pianos and other musical instruments from Michigan to Arizona in the fall. My plan was for him to crate up my instruments in September, store them in his climate-controlled warehouse (for a monthly fee), and deliver them to Arizona mid-November. He suggested an alternate plan to use a mover with an air-conditioned truck. I e-mailed back that my research indicated that companies that advertised climate-controlled trucks often do not really have them; I like the warehouse option better. I sent e-mail early in August about adding a piano action regulating service. He did not reply. I called August 10 to investigate. Mr. Marras told me that he had decided way back in the spring not to do my move. He did not bother to even let me know. I asked why he didn't reply to my e-mail. He replied, "That should have been a clue."
