The owner of this business is the most rude, unprofessional and unfair home inspector I have ever come across. His wife and office manager is no better. I paid for him to do a COMPLETE home inspection to which I later found out was INCOMPLETE as my insurance company was requesting more information from "his" inspection, namely a wind mitigation and four points inspection. I was referred to him by my realtor who he said "I should straighten out" because "she should have informed me" to inform him to do these tasks, which by the way are standard and customary with other home inspectors. Now who is the "expert in the field that is responsible for informing the customer? So who is responsible for informing the customer and communicating their options? Not him because he didn't even show up. He sent someone else who wouldn't know to ask me because he was just there to do an inspection. But whose responsibility is it to inform the customer? Apparently he is either too busy making money or too lazy but I highly doubt that I should "straighten my realtor out" for his shortcomings. Furthermore, who does that? Who bites the hand that feeds them? When I called him with my concerns, was told I would get a call back the next day. After waiting 3+ days I decided to call him back since this was holding up a house closing. I was hung up on, sent to voicemail and cut short to be asked for my credit card for an additional $150 payment for futher services after already paying "him" $285 which wasn't "him" at all. Although "his" signature and contact information is the one on my inspection "he" never set foot on the property. Then after being sent to voicemail I tried to call one last time. This time his wife picked up AKA "office manager" who abruptly and rudely states that "she could care less that I am upset since I am not going to hurt his business of 20 years". This was also after bashing my realtor who referred his business to me in the first place! I am done with greedy, rude, backstabbing businesses who forget who pays their meal ticket. To the business owner: You may not care about me being treated unprofessionally and unjustly by you but maybe others who read this wiil. Making the situation right would have been much cheaper than the business you will lose from me and many others.
