In 1972, Barry Conner had a vision to create a company that could build quality custom homes at a lower cost than his competitors. Following the principle over profit philosophy of other successful business leaders, Barry believed that if you provided customers a quality built home, at a better price, and treated customers with respect, always following good, honest principles, our business would be successful.

We would highly recommend Americas Home Place in Opelika to build anyone's home. We are very thankful for all they have done for us . We are impressed with our beautiful home. We have been very amazed at the amount of work that it took from start to finish to build our home. Any questions that we had were answered in a timely manner. Sam and Clay were wonderful and knowledgeable in their work. We were informed of every step in our home construction. I can not express how thankful we are to Americas Home Place. Throughout the months of talking with everyone involved in the construction of our home, we feel like we added more family members to our home. The employees are absolutely wonderful. I can tell that these people really take pride in their work just by their craftsmanship and the effort that they put in our home. I could go on and on about how great Americas Home Place is. Thank you Sam, Clay, Ken, Pauline and Paula.
