front edge of one indoor step (in a series of 5) has broken off. I have the broken off piece and also have a new stair tread if needed. I would prefer the old piece be glued and screwed into place if possible. There are also 3 old nails in the broken off piece that need to be removed, before it can be reused. The steps look like they are made of oak.
