I have a very high ceiling. 18 to 20 feet tall. The fan there now has a remote which apparently is no longer available that has failed. I do not really care for the fan I have and would like it replaced. I know there are universal remotes but again I would have to get up to the fan to program it and I am elderly and unable to reach it. I am going to buy a new fan on Monday
