Kevin and his company did a down to the bones remodel of the bathroom in my 1918 house. MANY, MANY surprises, all of which they took in stride, and managed without a bump. And really, they were challenges...no studs in the outside walls, 3" (or more) of concrete on the floor, and lots more. They just plugged forward, and did a magnificent job. Their attention to detail is unsurpassed. They are courteous like I have never seen before in a contractor. My 104 year old mom LOVES them, and enjoyed having them in her home. She talked daily about how nice they are. Bottom line, HIRE THEM! They are the best all around. I have never felt the urge, nor had the experience of hugging my contractor after a lengthy and expensive project (due to the MAJOR demo), but this is exactly the experience. I do not normally write reviews, but shame on me if I did not share the good news so others could have the outstanding experience I had.

I've hired Kevin and KDH Contracting many times over the past ten years. He's always impressed me as a skilled craftsman and a conscientious worker. I recommend him to friends and colleagues often.

KDH contracting is all about superb quality. Everything they do is absolutely perfect - it has the touch of the master craftsmen from the old era - you'd be hard put to find that level of perfection anywhere today. They have done more than $100,000 worth of construction work at various times in my house in Squirrel Hill. When KDH contracting started on my house, it was a typical 100-year old stone house that showed its age and more. They completely redid many parts of the house, and when it was finished, it stands now as a work of art worth beholding. It looks more beautiful than I think it ever was. As people who live within and look at it every day, our admiration for the work that KDH contracting did just grows as time passes. I am not sure that it is easy to say that for anyone's work in today's day and age. They are always on time and extremely polite and courteous in dealing with customers. We have been their clients for over six years, and we have not had one SINGLE occasion to complain about anything at all. With KDH contracting, you get your money's worth multiplied tenfold in the durability, reliability and perfection of their work. I would absolutely recommend this company for any kind of home construction/improvement (or commercial ) job that you really care about. And I'd like to add that they are extremely accessible. They return phone calls promptly, and help deal with emergencies promptly. This is a company that doesn't just construct - it puts a lot of knowledge, engineering, thought, and art into construction. They treat your home with more respect than you would sometimes treat your own home. when they are done with the day's work, not a speck of dust remains behind - even if they have to get back the next day to resume the work. We were so lucky to find them. We have not looked back since.
