  | Brazilian cherry lace in hardwood flooring installation | Feb 2017 | Brazilian Cherry hardwood installation. Hardwood installs start at 2.00 per square foot. This project was 2.50 per sq. due to the purchase of seconds and damaged materials from Lumber liquidators. Seconds and damaged material will have bows, nicks, scratches and damaged tongue and grooves making it difficult to get a tight install. This project materials could not be returned and the client did not understand when it was purchased the difficulty level of installing seconds and damaged. They actually thought it should be cheaper because it was inexpensive. Lesson learned. Sales floors are not always transparent about open boxed material or seconds. | Plano, TX |
