We first got to know Ungerman about 14 years ago, and since their first job for us, we've retained them for EVERYTHING on our older home. They're a general contractor, but they also have their own carpenters and painters. They've handled every project from start to finish - lots of carpentry (repairs and new), painting galore, a full kitchen remodel, restoration of original wood flooring, concrete and chimney repairs, restoration of an unstable exterior garage wall. They are easy to work with, and very attentive to schedules and detail. We simply couldn't be more pleased. Plus, they are genuinely terrific people!

We used Ungerman Construction when a sub pump failed to work in our basement while we were gone and came home to discover the whole basement with about an inch of water. Called Underman and in a matter of few hours they had a crew there getting the carpet and pad pulled as well as taking out the sheet rock and insulation that was damaged. Also had a plumber there to check the sub pump. We could not have had better service. They even got us to a carpet reseller, where we ordered the carpet. All in all the process went really fast. Since then we have used the to remodel our kitchen down to the studs and moving plumbing and gas lines. They managed the whole project. It started on time and finished on time. They were also used to replace all our bathrooms with the same great results. We highly recommend them.

I live in a small townhouse development in South Minneapolis that had a major fire 9 years ago and Ungerman Constructuon did the restoration work for our development. It was as pleasant of an experience as one could expect after such a devistating event. I now have a better home than before the fire. They were great to work with. Since the fire I have used them to fix water damage in my finished basement and to recarpet a part of my home. I would recommend them to anyone.

Ungerman Construction was awesome. We had water damage in our house in Edina, MN after a heavy rain and they were out with fans and a plan for dry out and fixing the issue before it turned into a much larger mold problem. Super knowledgable staff and excellent service, can't recommend highly enough.
