This needs to be repaired, with a new dedicated vent installed into and out of roof. I am not sure how this can be done but hopefully a pro can advise. My heating consultant went into the attic and showed me photos of moisture on rafters. Apparently there is also another hose venting air to outside, but its output screen is clogged and needs repair.
