Our History We opened our first Utah pest control company in 1999 and have since added pest control offices in Arizona. To get new customers back then we sent college students door-to-door. We required new customers to enter into long-term contracts and paid our sales representatives large commissions for each sale. While this model was a great way to grow quickly it also created some drawbacks. One difficulty was in accurately relaying information and framing consistent expectations. Sales representatives hungry for sales would at times overstate our capabilities and make promises that were impossible for us to keep. Another inherent limitation in a paid sales force is a higher cost of doing business, which raises prices. Our New Approach Keeps Costs Down We have a new approach with AB Pest Control. We no longer utilize a sales team to grow our business. Instead we use local shows and the Internet to explain to each customer exactly what programs we offer and the costs and advantages of each respective program. This eliminates misinformation and unmet expectations and allows us to keep our costs down. We pass that savings on to each customer allowing us to offer a top quality service for a price even lower than a one-man-show pest service can match. No Contracts – Ever Additionally, we do not require any contracts, any time, for any reason. We feel strongly that we need to earn your business with each treatment we perform.
