Crown Roofing

Poor poor business ethics. Won't return phone calls. Deceitful business practices.

I have a complaint filed with BBB due to a extreme misrepresentation of metal roofing and supplies to roof an area over my garage. After having Bruce with Crown roofing come out, see the job, do his measurements, take half the money down...The order was delivered - and not a single piece long enough to do the job and missing all the "special pieces needed for installation". There is no part of the deal that we shook on, that has actually been dependable or where he kept his word. Further, he shows no remorse for having "stuck it to a single mom who made very clear my financial budget". He has made promises to come pick it up and return the money...none has came to fruition and now he simply refuses to return a phone call. This has been ongoing since May of this year. I would not recommend this company based off of lack of ethics, lack of trustworthiness, lack of honesty, lack of dependability...Nothing less than robbery or thievery. I have a pile of unusable material and out $2000 until BBB helps out. This saddens me to ever provide such negative feedback but consumers need to know who they are dealing with.

I had a great experience with Crown Roofing. The owner is very knowledge and absolutely great to work with. I just purchased a house in April, one that Crown Roofing had put a new roof on 5 years ago. Shortly after moving in I noticed a leak in the attic. I called Bruce and he sent a crew out to see what was going on. It ended up not having anything to do with the roof, but was rather cause by siding nails that were too long and had pierced the flashing around the chimney above the roof. Despite the fact that the leak was not their fault, they sealed all the nail holes and stopped the leak. Needless to say I was very please and impressed with the service I received Crown Roofing. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.
