We could not be happier. Nick of Kanler Construction was fantastic. My wife and I have made extensive renovations on 3 homes and have worked with many contractors for various projects. We have seldom had such a positive experience like we had working with Kanler. Nick was transparent throughout the entire process and always addressed our concerns promptly. His workers were polite and professional. But the best part for us was that the whole team really understood what we had in mind for our bathroom addition and kitchen remodel. Once the project started, everything went exactly as promised and changes that we requested were arranged for with minor incremental costs. Kanler Construction did a great job on the renovation of our apartment in Belmont. We decided to work with them not only because of the competitive price they offered, but also because Alan -one of Kanler's representative- was so helpful with planning the entirety of our project. We were new to the whole remodeling thing, and weren't sure exactly what we wanted, but he held our hands through the entire planning process. When construction started, our project manager Nick gave us regular progress reports with pictures and description of the completed work. He was easy to reach and quick to respond. We had a slight hiccup towards the beginning of our remodel , when the plumbing system in the apartment went off causing a leak on the floors. But it was handled fast and professionally and was fixed within a day. If you end up working with Kanler, you can be assured that you will be working with a company who will meet your expectations.

I moved into a two-bedroom condo in San Francisco and our designer recommended Kanler Construction general contractor for our major renovation projects. It was such a stress reliever not to interview and talk to a million GCs, and knowing a good one right off the bat. Jose, the project manager, came in, listened to all our needs and specificity notated our request. We had a complete estimate for everything within only a few days including cost and time frames for: hardwood floor install in both rooms; hardwood floor repair for the rest of the apartment; tile install for the foyer; fireplace tile surround plus fireplace repainted; entire condo repainting, including ceilings and; complete kitchen remodel. We also needed help with furniture and other finishes after the remodeling, and Kanler interior design department came in really handy for that! Kanler was able to accommodate with all architect’s drawings, all subcontractors and permit running service. They are a one-stop service. Literally anything and everything related to construction, they can handle it for you. I have heard horror stories about people’s GCs. But in my case, the work was done on time and within budget, even with the inevitable surprises that always come up during renovation. Kanler crew was punctual, always respectful and very neat. Maloos came to help to manage our tile projects, both she & Jose were obsessive about details. And honestly, when it comes to high-end remodeling, the devil is in the details like they say.

It is not always easy to find a good contractor these days but I sure found a great one in you. You and your team got right on the job and accomplished exactly what I was looking for.
