Frankly, I'm shocked by the negative reviews on this page. I received Corey's information from another contractor. Corey called me right away, gave me an extremely fair price, and had the entire job completed in 3 three days. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Breach of Contract - Mud Masters Drywall will take your money without completing the work agreed upon. Oral Contract Terms: On 8/23/2019 the contractor agreed to drywall a duplex located in Savannah, GA. The drywall work included installing 40 pieces of 4' x 8' x 1/2" pieces (1,280 square feet) of drywall, taping and mudding the drywall and applying orange peel texture coating. I gave him a deposit $1 ,500 - half the agreed upon amount ($3,000 for the job, with half $1,500 down) for dry walling materials. Description of contractor's breach of contract: The contractor finished less than 5% of the work in three months. I notified the contractor he was fired for a breach of contract and he should refund me my payment. On 11/7/19 he acknowledged he received my request for a refund via text but has not provided a refund. Throughout the three months, the contractor told me he would get the work completed, but did not. Bryan County Magistrate Court Case Case: MGCC2019000574 Results: IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that a Default Judgment be rendered in favor of Plaintiff against Defendant Mud Masters Drywall

I'am company owner of JP Drywall & More LLC, Cory hired us when he wasn't able to complete a house on Sunshine Lake Rd in Midway, Georgia. He made demands that we needed to finish it fast(Had my employees & spouse work Sunday and Christmas Eve 2018 ) to be able to do so. It's not that he not only didn't pay us the money for our job(NOT A SINGLE DIME), but that he has to hire another company to get the job done and most likely overcharges Home owners and Builders for the job. We agreed to help him because he seemed like he really needed help (Price was not worth making an hour long trip there and back we are located in South Carolina). Like in most reviews he gives you the run around when it comes to getting your money. I see that this won't be the first nor second time in the Small Claims court for a man that presents himself as a responsible business owner. He will most likely respond with an irrelevant excuse like in his previous negative reviews ,that doesn't change the fact that he clearly is incompetent of fufillling customer and employees needs. If he did he most likely hired another great company and over charged you :(

My wife and i unfortunately hired Cory to finish our walls and ceilings to get us ready for paint, and now we are out $900. Against better judgement, i trusted him and paid 1/4 up front ($900). Even though the reviews and his personal history tell the story, i wanted to give him the chance as it seemed he was ready to go to work and prove himself. I couldn't have been more wrong. He wanted to be conservative in when he told me they could start, hoping it would be sooner, which i could understand. He said 7-10 days. They didn't start for two weeks. Two more weeks went by and they never had more than two guys, one of which couldn't do much besides fill holes. They worked a total of 3 days, one of which they only had one guy there. They showed up at 10:30 roughly (blamed it on 204 traffic) and were never there later than 4. I continued to listen to his excuses until a month came, and i still had tape joints that weren't complete, no corner bead run, and ceilings that hadn't even been started. I had again earlier made the mistake of paying them another $900 after they had performed the back to back days with two people and seemed to be focused on our home and assured us they'd be done in time for trim. After giving him the chance for a clean break and giving me some of our money back, he continued with the excuses as to why he couldn't come up with the money that he even offered to return at one point ($600). I put some pressure on him to pay today (12/7/17) and he called me cussing and yelling, and basically telling me that i wasn't getting any money from him. Come to find out from folks i know that live in Richmond Hill and grew up here, Cory has had some issues in the past and that is evident in his attitude, lack of respect, inability to communicate maturely and take responsibility, and dismal business acumen. Please don't make the same mistake some of us have. At this point we will take this to small claims court and carve out time weekly to tell our story to as many websites, subs, home owners and home builders in the area. If you have any questions or feel tempted to give him a chance, please message me and id be glad to tell you the rest.
