Witt & Son's Inc

We would not hire Witt & Sons, Inc. again. We hired this company in May 2017 to tear off and replace the original wood clapboard siding on the east and west sides of our 1908 home in Summit Hill here in St. Paul Apparently, the lead carpenter and his trainees thought the work was the same as work on a new home. News to them, it's not. Consequently, they mass-cut numerous boards too short, many by 1/3" to 1/2" which meant that I have now spent dozens of hours cutting and installing shims to fill in the gaps around all of the windows and columns prior to caulking and painting. To the best of my knowledge, the President and CEO of the company, who "supervised" this project, does not have a contractor's license. Finally, the company failed to provide a port-a-potty for the 3 to 4 workers who spent some or all of 6 work days here this spring. TACKY!!
