RGS WASTE REMOVAL

Since the beginning of 2021 this company has had some sort of issue. Either they have no working trucks or not enough people to work. Since Spring of 2021 they have not one week picked up trash on the day they are supposed to. I used this company for 5+ years and never had an issue until this year. My trash was supposed to be picked up on Wednesday and every week they would come at anywhere between 1-3am to pick up Thursday mornings or Friday afternoons. November was my last straw with them. They went THREE weeks without trash pick up for my area.. trash was piling up at the road for miles around my community. When I called to see what was going on a voicemail came on and said they were behind due to Maintenance issues with their trucks. I left 3 voicemails before I got a call back then was told “I don’t get paid enough to answer the phone every time it rings or to return every voicemail. I work 3 jobs.” When I asked on week 2 of no trash pick up if there was an estimated time they would be picking up I was told the Friday of week 2 it would be picked up.. never happened. So on November 22 I decided to go with All American and cancel my RGS account. When I talked to the office manager again she told me to let her know when my trash was picked up and she would have my trash can picked up. The next week came and went. All American ended up emptying my RGS can FOR FREE due to them still not coming out and picking up the trash. Once my trash was emptied by another company I called and left a voicemail for them to come get their trash can off of my property. I even called the OWNERS personal cell and left a message on week 2 of them not picking their trash can up bc you can no longer leave messages on the office voicemail due to it being full. It’s been 3 weeks now and their trash can is still sitting in my yard. They can’t even send the box truck out on time to collect their property. All of my neighbors are still currently using RGS and they have not picked up trash once again for 3 weeks. The company expects people to pay their bill on time or they will come out due to non payment and dump the trash can in the yard and take their property right then. I’ve seen this happen on multiple occasions with my neighbors. But yet they can’t pick up on time. They should have never let it get this bad with their trucks. And definitely should have contracted their cans out to another company until their trucks were fixed. I have been more than understanding this past year not only with them not picking trash up on time but also having one of their workers take a 3 month cash payment I paid when they came out and not giving it to the office manager then having to prove I gave him $63 for 3 months of service. It’s been issue after issue and no one seems to care. If I were you and you’ve taken the time to read this review I would go with a different company. You’ll pay for service and go WEEKS without trash pick up. It took me calling trashbilling.com to get my money back for the month of December bc the office refused to call me back or issue a refund. Very unprofessional and as trash builds up all around my community it’s becoming a hazard. Use someone else and save yourself time, money and a headache. If I could give ZERO stars I would due to the unprofessionalism and lack of trash pick up.
