| Rancho Santa Fe Custom Fabrication and Sand and Finish | Mar 2013 | 1500square feet of walnut flooring sand and finished with two custom fabrication pieces. both 26 feet in length to be used as a stair nose and a tread for a curved step down entry to the great room. the fabrication took place on site over a period of 1.5 weeks. This was a particularly challenging project that nearly no one was willing to take on. I sourced materials from as far away as the southeastern US. it took two months to find and secure the necessary pieces for the custom fab. the floor was finished with a combination of oil based and then water cast urethane satin sheen products | $17 | Rancho Santa Fe, CA |
