Founded in 1975 by architect Bill Remick, Remick Associates began as an Architectural and Construction firm specializing in single family residential work. To date our company has completed over 200 projects including new buildings, remodels, additions and restorations. Our work spans from contemporary to classical in design, always guided not by our own aesthetic, but by a commitment to reflecting our clients' singular tastes and requirements. Over the years, as projects have grown larger in size and complexity, the architectural and construction divisions of the firm have became more autonomous allowing clients to select from a variety of services ranging from entitlements to turn-key construction, art and interiors installations. The architectural staff has the benefit of construction field experience feedback and the construction group has access to supplemental design assistance if such assistance is required or requested. Specializing in 'one of a kind' residential and boutique commercial projects, Remick projects are recognized nationally for unique design solutions to complex challenges as well as unparalleled craftsmanship.

Pacific Heights Renovation | Jan 2004 | This major remodel of a century old Second Empire style home in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood was a transformation of an assemblage of small dark rooms into a light filled modern residence with sweeping bay views. Because the street side appearance of the historic structure was required to be preserved, all work occurred behind and below the existing facades. The scope of work consisted of redesigning the 3 floors of boxy rooms and reconfiguring the spaces around a new graceful curving bronze-railed stairway. Extensive below-grade excavation allowed for additional living space, including a guest room, gym, theater, wine cellar and billiard room. Crested Butte Residence | Jan 1998 | For this family retreat, antique materials were used to bring to life the old mining camp vernacular prevalent in Colorado. Located on a secluded plateau nestled in the Rocky Mountains, the entrance to a centuries old mine is located just yards beyond the property.
