Superb Builders Inc.

To whom it may concern,  My wife and I bought a new house in Redwood City and started searching for a contractor to completely remodel our new home, including demolishing the entire interior of the house, new kitchen, 3-1/2 bathrooms, flooring, painting interior and exterior as well as moving some walls inside the house.   We interviewed 3 contractors as a good new buyers (well, it's not our first home). The first two were nice and it took them 7days to submit their bids, Then we met with David King from Superb Builders.  He introduced himself as the owner of the company, and we started talking and discussing design ideas.  I honestly did not expect a contractor to give us such shrewd designer ideas.  David finished his design and at the same time same day told us the cost without the fixtures, unlike the other companies who quoted us with the fixtures based on allowance list.  David said he doesn't mark up fixtures and that he would provide us with the company letter that we can use it at any store to get his contractor discount so we can buy what we want what our budget will allow.  I was very skeptical.  After all, why would a contractor pass up making money on fixtures which everyone does?  Then I told David his price is way too high compared to the other bids we received, but right away David told me "I might and hope that I am way too high". That is what he said "might and hope" I am way higher than others, but at the end of the project I will be the cheaper one.  When I asked how come, He said that he never does change orders which save you about 30% unless you are asking for something over what we have agreed on.  Then we asked about the process.  David said all drywall throughout the house will be removed so we can change any rotten beams if needed, and install new electrical and plumbing.  I told him the other contractors didn't even mention that and said there would be no need for it. To be honest I was still very skeptical and wanted to go with one of the other contractors we interviewed.   But as the old saying goes, you need two to tango, and my wife was the one who pushed to go with Superb Builders.  We started the project, and David introduced us to his Daughter Rachel to help us with the design and picking out fixtures, We were very impressed with Rachel's ideas and the style that she fit to our taste.  The house looks really amazing.  The workers put forth great workmanship, paying careful attention to every little detail, with each tradesmen doing his trade only, and the results are pristine.  Our house looks so GREAT, so beautiful thanks to Rachel, Victor, the crew and of course a big thank you to David. The price seemed high at first but when we consider the quality, the speed and the fact that David didn't raise the price on us with change orders, I take David word that going with him would be cheaper when it's all said and done!! No change orders at all.   We are so so happy, and highly recommend David and his team at Superb Builders.

OK, I'm not one to post reviews too much, but I have to tell you my experience with Superb Builders. They remodeled our kitchen beautifully and within our budget & time frame. Tom was very responsive and great to work with and all of the guys were professional and skilled! They transformed an outdated mess of a kitchen to a beautiful site. No hesitations in recommending them.

Great JOB on my kitchen cabinets, and the quickest kitchen remodeling I have ever seen. I got a good deal on our granite counter-tops. They really go with my new cabinets, better than doing cabinet refacing. They completed the job on time, I'm really happy the way the kitchen came out.

An excellent remodeling contractor. Workers are polite and cooperative. They arrived on time, and worked effectively. Finished on time as promised. Very focused on details, which is where my wife and I are usually very fussy. No issues after completion. Every task was skillfully performed. The company owner was always available and was personally present at various stages of the project. Very friendly people to deal with. We highly recommend them to anyone.
