Santa Teresa Blvd. / Backyard Landscape Renovation | Sep 2020 | Project consisted of the following: Removed swimming pool liner & backfilled and compacted with 80 tons of base rock. Removed deck, railing, gates & artificial turf. Grading & Drainage. Installed Pavers into landscape and onto existing concrete patio, with a flagstone stepping pad. Installed Concrete block wall. Installed New irrigation main line w/faucet for backyard ( Installed Smart controller. Installed New artificial turf, with sprinkler system. Installed Plant material, with drip system. All pavers were sealed with a medium gloss sealer. Replaced existing patio overhang posts. Front yard; reseeded lawn and replaced broken sprinklers, repaired broken pipe & replaced old drip system with new. Specific problem encountered: Back yard had low pressure. Problem solved: Connected to main water line at front of house & ran new main line in backyard to supply new irrigation system. NOTE: This also helps prevent future water hammer & damages to indoor plumbing. Specific problem encountered: Artificial turf installed became scorched from sun reflecting off windows. Problem solved: Step 1) Installed Turf Guard Window Film to windows to prevent future scorching of turf. Customer paid for film material only. No charge for labor to install film.
