Specktacular Home Remodeling is based on our solid commitment to professionalism coupled with extensive experience in planning, design and remodeling. We started Speck Enterprises in 1992. In 2007, we added the company name Specktacular Home Remodeling. We enjoy remodeling homes, rather than building speculative houses, because it allows us to interact directly with our clients. Shortly after opening our business, we were part of a team building a 10,000 square foot "green" home for an energy efficiency engineer, long before green building became popular. We learned a number of great principles about energy efficient building, including using foam filled thermal panels and designing the home to run on heat generated by appliances only-no furnace! In 1995, we decided to shift our focus from both commercial and residential remodeling to primarily residential. We like working directly with you, the home owner, listening to your needs and wants. Helping you reach your goal of improving your quality of life. Our passion is coming up with creative, thoughtful, inspiring and purposeful solutions. Throughout the recent economic downturn, we have remained a leader in providing superb design and remodeling services with projects ranging from bathrooms, kitchens and additions to the complete redesign and renovation of entire homes. April 2016 marks 24 years in business for Specktacular Home Remodeling. We remain grateful to those who have chosen Specktacular Home Remodeling throughout the years. Our clients remain our friends and we continue to maintain trust as we complete multiple projects, years beyond our first remodel together. A client's best compliment is when they refer us to their friends, coworkers and family members. We would love to make you part of the Specktacular family!

Master Bathroom Remodel | Sep 2015 | The foot print of the bathroom remains the same, the layout and function fit the couple. The room was just outdated. Updated tile, HVAC, plumbing fixtures, new cabinets, countertops and hardware were combined to bring the bathroom up to date and up to code. | $37k | Damascus, OR
Kitchen Remodel | Aug 2014 | Dated Kitchens are so much fun to do. This one was old and tired, but at least it was open to the family room. We just moved the refrigerator and the oven (the oven was a built in) for a better layout and flow. The kitchen is nice and bright with all white cabinets, but very warm and inviting. | $51k | Damascus, OR
Kitchen Refresh | Mar 2013 | This home was built in the late 80's and needed an update. The people that built the home are still living there, and they were ready for some appliance, flooring, countertops, paint and most important was lighting. The cabinets are the existing cabinets, we just had them refinished. | $36k | Boring, OR
Kitchen Remodel and Expansion | Feb 2013 | This kitchen was originally closed off from the house and much narrower. We moved a wall, took down a wall and added a door with a window for some much needed light. | $78k | Portland, OR
Kitchen Remodel | Nov 2012 | The kitchen was original to the 1970's house, old dated and very worn out, as a matter of fact, only 2 burners worked on the stove, the dishwasher did not run, the countertops were chipping and the backsplash was actually linoleum (huh). We gutted the kitchen, added electrical, hvac, garbage disposal, extended the kitchen space, removed the loft above the kitchen so you could see the vaulted tongue and groove ceiling and re-arranged the appliances. | $85k | Sandy, OR
Family Room Addition | Jan 2010 | This was a standard 3 bedroom ranch with no family room and teenagers ready to have parties and fun. The parents wanted to be the place to hang out, so they invested in their family and home by adding a large family room to the back side of their home. Their HVAC system had just been replaced knowing that this addition would be added, so we did not have to upgrade, we just had to have the lines added for heating and air. | $65k | Troutdale, OR
Kitchen Remodel | Jan 2007 | Removed the existing kitchen, rearranged appliances and the layout of the kitchen, installed hardwood floors in the eat in country kitchen and family room. We installed beautiful granite countertops with state of the art appliances. We also upgraded all the lighting with a new lighting layout. Some HVAC needed updated, along with the plumbing. Painting in the kitchen, dining and family room were all done. There was extensive drywall with the lighting changes and the family room ceiling was different, so that was fixed to match the kitchen area. | $117k | Portland, OR
Kitchen Refresh | Mar 2014 | Sometimes you just need to give your house a little attention. This kitchen was in great shape, the appliances were fairly new they just needed some new countertops and backsplash. | $16k | Gresham, OR
