BUYER be AWARE I had Main Street service my furnace. The Thermostat stopped working. $315 for a generic transformer and $88.00 for the diagnostic fee. After the service, I check used the old transformer to check the price of the transformer. I could buy the OEM transformer for $135. A generic transformer would cost between 15 to 40% less that the OEM transformer. The $315 charge for the replaced transformer is fraudulent business practices and price gouging and at the extreme.
