Rainbow Custom Painting of Santa Barbara

On this project we painted the exterior stucco of this HOA buildings in Santa Barbara Montecito area. The old outdated color was a light pink color, which in my opinion didn't go well with the Spanish style architectural buildings. The new color is a soft-white that gives a nice contrast between the stucco and the terracotta mission roof tiles. The end result goes well with the traditional Santa Barbara Spanish style buildings.

This last summer we did a full interior painting job on a Spanish style house on the Riviera neighborhood in Santa Barbara,CA. The walls were in bad shape, they had a lot of cracks, old paint peeling off, and some walls had outdated wallpaper. So we did a lot of prep work and with the right color skim the project turned out looking beautiful.

On this commercial exterior painting project in Goleta CA, we painted all the surfaces (wood, sheet metal, stucco, iron railings). The color before was just a plain boring off-white, but we got rid of the boring with a 3 color scheme. The new main body color on the stucco was painted with a median dark grey, the sheet metal was painted with a really dark charcoal grey to act as an accent, and the trim was painted white. The 3 color combination definitely made the exterior of the building beautiful and interesting.

This stunning Ennisbrook estate in Montecito, it badly needed a fresh coat of paint inside and outside. The 12,000 sqft. house was painted. The interior walls had many strong deep colors that were not aesthetically pleasing, so the interior designer choose a neutral off-white from Benjamin Moore pallet. The color name is White Dove. For the exterior, again the interior designer choosed a neutral colors. The stucco was painted Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray and White Dove for the window trim.

We painted 1,600 linear feet of decorative iron rails in Santa Barbara. The railings were washed with a marine solution to get rid of salt deposits. After the washed they were prep using diferente tools and techniques. For the painting the rails were primed with a 2 part marine epoxy primer from PPG. Then they were top coated with 2 coats of 2-part marine urethane from PPG.

Last summer we painted the interior of a Santa Barbara hotel, and we did all the exterior wood staining on the new Ipe wood. The job was somewhat stressful because there was death line to reopen. But we work hard, the painting and staining work came out looking great and we meant the death line. The interior was painted using Dunn Edwards Swiscoffe, for the exterior we used Penofin for hardwood.
