Winn came to Santa Barbara from England where he studied forestry and arboriculture at Merrist Wood College of Aboriculture where he earned a diploma in Arboriculture. Arboriculture is what brought Winn to the U.S. and he has remained here since, amassing detailed knowledge of trees and their needs, from infancy through their entire life cycle. Winn is a certified arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). The company is state-licensed and insured for property, liability and workmen's compensation. A trusted resource in the Santa Barbara community for decades, Winn and Westree's projects have been as varied in size and type as there are the number of species of trees.
