CB Construction specializes in residential remodels that require creative solutions within the limitations of existing space or client budget. We work with homeowners to identify cost-effective outcomes that meet their objectives. We enjoy working on Seattle's early 20th century homes and helping homeowners maximize their home's function and performance. A green ethic underlies our work. We prefer to upgrade a good, old home rather than replace it. We like to help homeowners make their existing spaces work efficiently. We understand that a remodel involves a great number of decisions and many trade-offs, and we patiently accompany our clients through this process. In addition to remodeling and additions, CL Construction offers a wide range of custom construction and woodworking services: decks and railings, cabinets for the small bathrooms found in Seattle's older homes; deck and patio furniture built to withstand the exterior environment. Principals Carl Lind, MBA - General Manager 30 plus years experience in craftsmanship (boats, furniture, cabinetry, tile & granite, decks & railings). Out of the office, Carl oversees the technical aspects of projects and occasionally generates wood shavings himself. Bob Kackman - Project Manager Although trained in architecture, Bob realized early on that he prefers to manage construction rather than design buildings. Bob keeps projects on schedule and within budget (without losing sleep).
