My husband and I both highly recommend working with John Madrid while looking for a home in Seattle. John helped us find a house in the ultra-highly competitive Seattle market in late winter/spring 2015. We were new to the area, and John did a great job helping us get to know different neighborhoods. What was really great is that he laid out exactly what the intricacies of the Seattle market were at the time, including pre-inspections and various contingencies (or lack-thereof). While John made sure we understood all of our options, he never pushed us to waive a contingency where we weren't comfortable doing so. He also knew the budget range we were working with, but he didn't push us to offer our max to increase the chance of making a sale - he would tell us "I wouldn't pay $X for this house, I think you can get a better property for that amount of money." John was a truly valuable resource throughout the process. He has a deep knowledge of Seattle Real Estate, and is patient and puts his clients' best interests first. We also used his recommendations for help with things like pre-inspections, sewer inspections etc., and were very pleased with his recommendations there as well.
