JDE CONSTRUCTION

JDE Construction is a remodel and tenant improvement company heavily consolidated in Southern California.

The Project was to White Wash walls and beams for Black Angus Lakewood resturant. After completing the work Both John Edwards owner and Manny refused to pay to the pre agreed to terms. I recieved 2 payments on seperate dates for a deposit and when I reach ed 1/2 point another deposit was due. Cleary written out dated in the invoice. They refuse to pay because now they say I had to have a "contractors License" When they know from my refferal they hired a highly skilled hard working artist. After refusing to pay the then went on to make FALSE racial aligations. All is from what someone said I said on the job site. The truth is nothing was ever said racist his painters where working all togather for weeks and a day before the last day they said was "in there way" Manny the porject manager told me to use a ladder only. They painters had a lift and 6 guys. Luckly I got ahead and finished more work than all of them but reight beofre there boss called me and yelled at me for holding them up. Long storey short Manny made up claims saying the I said id call imgration on them. Funny because that is what they are doing to me. They refuse to pay for my hard good work. They have no disute about the work just excuses that I do not have a painters license. I have a degrees in art a BFA from Art Center College of Desig calss of fall 2005.. They worked me and stole my hard work and are refusing to pay. Dont work for these guys they play dirty and make up racist lies to try and destryo my repuatation and charecter. I have contated the authoriites and sueing them as of next month hace contacted Black Angus Corporate as well. I have all the proof I need to win my case for $4,000. But I wont stop untill JDE is no longer in business. A owner and manger of a Construction company dont desverve to opeerate under these false ways of doing business. Clients beware. Ryan Graeff
