Roberta Dry Cleaners

I’ve used this dry cleaners multiple times in the past without an issue. I brought my suit and my wife’s wedding dress on January 22, 2019 to have my suit dry cleaned and her dress JUST cleaned. Suit would be clean in a few days, wedding dress about 10 days is what I was told. 12 days later I collected my suit, wedding dress wasn’t ready yet; no worries. 5 days later I stopped by to get the dress, still wasn’t ready; hm ok. 5 days later (22 days total) still not ready. I asked where it was, I was told sometimes they send them off to a third party to be cleaned etc. I wanted to know WHERE the dress was, no explanation. I was told someone would call me later that afternoon and be able to tell me when it was ready. Never received a call. I stopped by later that afternoon and demanded the dress back. Was not offered an apology or explanation. As I was walking out the door, another customer was walking in. At that point I was told “so sorry we are unable to help you with the dress.” 22 days later and that is all I’m offered? Please, don’t trust these people with anything sentimental or anything of value.
