Family Run business. Very focused on service and providing a quality experience for the home owners and business owners alike. Specializing in all phases of painting both interior/exterior as well as custom finishes. We have over 25 years experience providing quality, detailed craftsmanship to homeowners and business owners alike. We offer free bid proposals and free color consultations upon acceptance of bid proposals. We respect the competition in our area. We know that there are a few really good painting companies around. But the fact that we are a family run business, that has less overhead, allows us to charge lower rates while providing the same or superior service.

John and Sarah really helped me to finish home remodeling project. I hired them to paint doors, trims and baseboards and they did it great. They also were flexible with their schedule and fixed up work that another painter did. At the end I regret that I didn't hire them to do the the whole house from the beginning.

Oh my gosh! John and Sarah painted the entire inside and outside of my home after a major fire and reconstruction. They are BY FAR the best painters I've ever worked with... and that is saying something considering I used to be on a residential paint crew. They are dependable, clean, organized, METICULOUS and highly ethical (unlike many contractors and subs)... I enjoyed their positive energy, flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile. I also really liked how they educated me about different paint brands, different levels of quality and they explained why they made all the recommendations that they did. Hire Custom Finishes and Painting if you want two hard working perfectionists to transform you home into something lovely. PS Sarah has a total eye for color and design. Some of the recommendations she made were perfect. All in all, I give them the rating of outstanding.

HighPointe has been working with John and Sarah since 2012. They have done an outstanding job on several different projects at our commercial properties located around the Seattle area. They have done exterior and interior painting, tenant improvement projects, restroom remodels and more. They are easy to work with, communicate with and their high quality of work shows at all of our buildings. We have recommended them to other clients we work with and continue to hire them for ongoing projects.

Attention to detail was awesome. The best painter we have used. Sealing around Windows and doors before painting was perfect.

  | Hall Historical home | Dec 2015 | The Hall's historical house had a fire and we (custom Finishes & Painting) were hired to come in and spray smoke seal (synthetic shellac) to all of the studs and flooring to seal out the smoke smell. After all the other trades completed there work we came in and sprayed one finish coat to all ceilings than after the trim carpenter installed all of the trim and doors we came back in and did a extensive prep job to all the woodwork throughout the house which included all wood windows, crown mold throughout 8" baseboards throughout with base shoe built ins cabinets and painted some of the kitchen cabinetry. We sprayed all of our woodwork, doors and cabinetry with two finish coats of Satin Impervo oil.Than painted one final finish coat to all ceilings through out home and Two finish coats to all walls some rooms received three finish coats. There were 17 colors in total. We also pressure washed the ext of the home scraped loose paint, spot primed, re caulked as needed sprayed two finish coats to the siding and soffets and trimmed all the fascia boards corbels and windows. | $36k | Seattle, WA |
