Village Design Group began serving the Sandhills as Pinehurst Interiors in 1982. While the Sandhills population has grown over the years, our clientele has grown even faster. To maintain, even enhance, the level of quality and service for which we have long been known, Village Design Group has expanded its facilities and design resources. Since 1990, we have been located in a 12,000 square foot showroom and design center on Highway 15-501 in Southern Pines (next to Chili's bar & grill). Our design team assists both residential and commercial clients with projects nationwide. For over 30 years, we have provided our residential clients with exceptional service at every level. Our job is to capture and transform the client's vision into a reality that reflects their personal tastes. We encourage clients to participate in every stage of planning, design and implementation of their project. Each designer is responsible for ordering and tracking all products, coordinating with contractors, and overseeing the delivery, inspection and installation of each element. Our team is committed to providing the best service to our clients, even after the project's completion. We offer an inspiring showroom, professional services and a relaxing atmosphere. INTERIOR DESIGN CENTER: The Village Design Showroom is open daily to the public. Inside, you will find beautiful furniture, gorgeous lamps, designer fabrics, a huge wallpaper selection, and must-have accessories. Browse on your own or let one of our designers assist you. We are always available for design guidance, paint color selections or coordinating fabrics. Sit, relax and enjoy our friendly atmosphere. We are also very proud of our fabric galleries which include: Brunschwig & Fils, Schumacher, Cowtan & Tout, Lee Jofa, Beacon Hill, Ralph Lauren, Duralee, Highland Court, Kravet, Stroheim, Vervain and many more. Specialty wallcoverings, including Thibaut, Schumacher, Brunschwig & Fils and a huge library of natural fibers are cataloged in our wallpaper area. There are hundreds of carpet samples, from traditional to contemporary styles for wall-to wall installations or custom area rugs. Other flooring options include cork, hardwood and tile selections.</br> COMMERCIAL SERVICES: The design team at Village Design Group also provides design services for various business projects including medical buildings, professional offices, resort & vacation properties, retirement communities, banks and restaurants. We maintain hundreds of resources specific to commercial applications such as lighting, furniture, flooring, wallcovering, fabrics and artwork. A team approach is often used for larger projects such as hotels, country clubs and retirement communities. HOME REMODELING & RENOVATION: Complete remodeling services that include interior design oversight and professional crews for carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, flooring and more. Projects include bathroom & kitchen remodeling as well as complete home renovations for properties that need updating and general improvements.
