Lidgerwood Medical Center Roof Recover | Oct 2017 | Spokane Roofing Company recently completed a TPO roof recover on the Lidgerwood Medical Center, owned by Kaiser Permanente. The 21,200 square foot project was a textbook operation from start to finish, recovering a hot tar roof with a GAF EverGuard® TPO 60 mil Single-Ply Membrane roofing system. There were no big problems with the existing hot tar roof, but Kaiser Permanente made a decision not to wait until problems revealed themselves. That is really smart and the definition of proactive roof asset management. | $172k | Spokane, WA
Timberline Schools PVC Roof Recover | Sep 2017 | When used sparingly, a change order can be the right project management tool for a successful commercial roofing project. That was never more evident than on a 42,900 square foot, commercial PVC roof recover project we recently completed at Timberline Schools in Weippe, Idaho. We installed a Versico VERSIFLEX™-E KEE HP (high performance) PVC membrane roofing system. | $340k | Weippe, ID
Commercial Roof Recover - World Wide Group, LLC | May 2017 | An example of the roof asset management service we provide is a roof recover project at the World Wide Group building in the Spokane Valley. We have worked with the building owners on maintenance and repair work over the last few years. The building had needed a roof recover for a while, but it was not in their budget. Until it got funded, Spokane Roofing focused on repairs to minimize leaks and the invasive nature of any other damage. We installed a GAF EverGuard® TPO Single-Ply Membrane Roofing System over a hot mop, built-up roof comprising tar and felt materials. | $75k | Spokane Valley, WA
Millwood Kindergarten Center - West Valley School District - Roof Replacement | Aug 2016 | The Millwood Kindergarten Center staff and students love their new, leak-free school! The roof of the center had leaked forever, resulting in years of interior damage and disrupting school operations. Renovating the building envelope started with a full roof replacement, the first complete abatement in the building's 75 year life. Spokane Roofing tore off layer after layer of old, built-up, hot-tar roofing. We took it right down to the 3/4-inch wood decking and beyond. By the time we were done, you could see the stars through what remained. Work progressed by putting up new interior metal walls and roof decking, installing multiple layers of insulation and a tapered roofing system, before applying the membrane roofing system. It was a time-sensitive job; we worked for eight weeks to get the school ready in time for the kids. Project Materials: 7/16-inch oriented strand board (OSB), 6 mil vapor barrier, GAF EnergyGuard™ PolyIso Roof Insulation, R-30, mechanically attached, Full roof taper system, USG Securock® Glass-Mat Roof Board, GAF EverGuard® TPO 60 mil Single-Ply Membrane roofing system, New coping metal from Rolled Steel Products (RSP), Inc. in Spokane, WA, Guardian Fall Protection CB Anchor Series anchor points, Metal roof ladders from Precision Ladders, LLC. Convoy Supply Ltd. in Spokane Valley, WA supplied the polyiso roof insulation, roof board and TPO roofing materials and accessories. Professional Piping, Inc. and Pro Mechanical Services, Inc. were mechanical subcontractors. | $410k | Spokane, WA
Public Works Roof Installation – Fairchild AFB | Jun 2016 | Knowledge and preparation paid dividends on a recent public works roof installation project at Fairchild Air Force Base (AFB). Replacing a 40-year-old, 30,000 square foot roof was a big project. The flat concrete roof deck had leaked for years, and was known to contain asbestos. A subcontractor removed the original tar and gravel roof, following rooftop asbestos-abatement protocols. They left us a clean roof deck on which to install a new Versico VersiGard® Reinforced EPDM Membrane roof. | $250k | Fairchild Air Force Base, WA
3902 E Ferry Ave - Industrial Warehouse Reroofing | May 2016 | The challenging part was to reroof the warehouse without disrupting the tenant’s flooring distribution business. I know they were happy that we were able to do that. We walked the warehouse roof with the stakeholders to assess the problems and discuss the available options. It was a real collaboration. This industrial re-roofing project benefitted from an upgrade to the rooftop drainage system. We enlarged the existing scuppers (outlets for water to drain) and added several new ones. Most ponding water will drain within 72 hours. If it is there any longer, that is a problem. The upgraded rooftop drainage system mitigates the ponding problem. | $150k | Spokane, WA
Garry Middle School - Spokane Public Schools - Roof Recover | Jun 2015 | Spokane Roofing recovered the existing roof on Garry Middle School with 1/2" foam and GAF 60-mil TPO. | $80k | Spokane, WA
Libby Center - Spokane Public Schools Roof Recover | Jun 2015 | Spokane Roofing recovered the existing roof on Libby Center (formerly Libby Middle School, built in 1928) with 1/2" foam and GAF 60-mil TPO. | $50k | Spokane, WA
Commercial Re Roofing Project – Grant County International Airport | May 2015 | Spokane Roofing Company re roofed the Grant County International Airport control tower in Moses Lake, Washington entirely at night, 150 feet up in the air. We finished the month-long project in mid-May after dealing with several issues. We were working on several different buildings, but primarily the tower, which is 150 feet up, at night, with uncertain weather. Because the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) was replacing the HVAC equipment at the same time, we were coordinating with the HVAC contractor, plugging existing holes and creating new ones in the roof. | $80k | Moses Lake, WA |
