11/21/16: Went to Dick Van Dyke and was greeted at the door by Dave a salesman. I told Dave I was looking for a top loader but read they did not have much water. He told me he had the machine for me. Most ladies ask for a machine with more water. He showed me the Whirlpool Cabrio 4.8 cu.ft. washing machine with a deep water option. I bought it. $690.98. He asked if I would like to have the old one hauled off for $20. I told him no because it still works and I can sell it. He said the old one would be left in our garage. 12/3/16: The washing machine was delivered and set up. It doesn't work it has very little water and the clothes come out dirty. My old washing machine was not left in the garage. It was gone. 12/5/16: Went to Dick Van Dyke explained the machine does not fill with water. Salesman told me I could not return it and called the sales dept. Spoke with Breanne who told me I had to have 5 different mechanical failures with the machine before I could return it. There was nothing they could do about the old machine. It was gone. 12/8/16: Repairman came today. He ran the machine and said it does not work. He said he had this machine and it should be adding more water. Not to the top but more. He is ordering a new motherboard for it. They still won't let me return it. 12/16/16: Have not heard from Dick Van Dyke. Had to call them. We were told the machine is a new model so the part had not been released but they do expect it to arrive in 2-4 business days. 12/21/16: Have not heard from Dick Van Dyke again. Called them and the part was in. Service scheduled for 12/23. 12/23/16: The serviceman came and opened up the part and it was the wrong part. He apologized and stated he would overnight the correct part. 1/4/17: Hearing nothing from Dick Van Dyke we called them. They said they had the part and would be there the next day to fix the machine. 1/5/17: Repairman put the new part on the machine. I was not home my son was. When I washed clothes on 1/7/17 there was no change. The deep water button did not work. I had 2 1/2 inches of water in a 4.8 cu.ft. machine when I washed my nursing scrubs. 1/11/17: I stopped by Dick Van Dyke and spoke with Mike in person. I told him I was upset. I have a brand new machine that does not work and the machine I had the did work is gone. He again told me there was nothing they could do about my old machine. He told me he would contact the service manager and call me back that day. 1/17/17: Have not heard back from Dick Van Dyke. Called them today and they said they would have someone out tomorrow. The would call by 9:30 and tell me what time. 1/18/17: Dick Van Dyke called at noon and said it would be between 2:00 and 5:00. I told the repairman it was only adding 2 1/2 inches of water for my scrubs and my towels are wet but they are 6 inches about the water level. I told him my clothes are getting holes in them from rubbing together without water. The repairman called whirlpool to ask how to check for error codes and they told him. He was coughing alot and asked if I had a cat. I told him yes. He then said you machine is working fine there were no error codes. The deep water button is not going to add more water. I told him my clothes are getting holes in them and he told me to use the delicate cycle. He did not ever run the machine. He said I could return the machine for a 20% restocking fee.
