Do not hire this guy and his associate Calvin Jones! Came over and started work on cutting 5 trees in my backyard. Charged $2500 to cut and removed them. They left before finishing the job, with the trees lying where they fell. They promised to come back next day to finish. Instead they removed their machinery while we were out, and cashed the check my elderly father had given them. Yes, I know, it was stupid, but he is old and honest. Now, no one answers their phone and my backyard is a total mess. I will make a police complaint.

DO NOT hire this guy! We got a quote to remove three trees and stumps...etc. He gave us a quote, we agreed and he started cutting with a group of about 4 people. At about the one-two hour mark he wanted payment in full. It seemed like they were working hard, so against my better judgment, we paid in full with a check which was cashed in under two hours. Once the check cleared the work slowed down and stopped leaving 40% of the promised work not finished. Not only that, they left a complete disaster of a mess on the street three houses in each direction - my neighbors were upset. Also, they tor up our lawn with heavy truck driving though the yard. They asked for water, so I put an entire pallet of bottled water, which was 3/4 still full and they loaded it into the truck on their way out - not a big deal but? So then Ron said he would come back and finish the job, but needed $60 cash for gas - after paying him by check? So he left with $50 cash because we don't carry cash (that's all we could gather), and then never came back! So then we contact him again and asked when he would come back to finish the job and he would reply "Tonight!" and of course would not come. We contact him again and on three different occasions he said "text me on Friday to remind me and I'll come on Saturday." We texted on Friday and all three times did not come. This guy is a LIAR, THEIF, and all around JERK. Do your research before you hire someone - I wish we would have.

I paid Mr.Jones and not only did he take my money he took my ladder as well. This man should never be allowed to do work anywhere. I had called Good Ol' Boys tree service and they was so nice to clean up his mess and fix my trees that he chopped and didn't collect a dime till it was done. And did it for a fair price.
