Run ! Worst tree service in Hampton Roads. They ask for cash and fail to remove wood from tree trunk. When you call to ask for work completion they ignore your calls.

RUN!!! I mean run as fast as you can! Stay away from Anthony Copeland and Copeland’s Tree Service. Don’t be fooled by his reasonable price. He will ask for cash up front. Don’t pay him cash! He will take your money and tell you that he will return the next day to finish the job. HE WON’T!! He does incomplete work and will not return to your home or return calls. If you decide to allow him to cut your trees, do it at your own risk and ask for a contract. Don’t pay until the job is complete and I would advice you to pay with a check. He also damaged my fence. If I could give him a minus 5 stars, I WOULD! He doesn’t deserve 1 star! Please save yourself the headache and go with a reputable tree service, Copeland Tree Service isn’t reputable. Read other reviews, Anthony has done this to other hard working people and this is an ongoing pattern.

I had an incredible experience with this company, we asked for a quote, Anthony came out that same day, and it was half of what another company was charging AND they did the entire job the very next day. They came in removed a tree, trimmed several high branches, ground a stump and hauled it all away in a matter of a few hours. I am very pleased with the work and will be referring all my clients to him in the future.

Anthony promises to deliver completed quality work. In reality his crew doesn't show up with any rakes or equipment to clean up debris behind them. His quality of work wasn't completed in my case, leaving incompleted work that caused me three days of labor and a extra dumper bin. Its's unfortunate he doesn't oversee his work crew and most of the time his is not present and doesn't make himself available.
