J & G Carpentry

I have three pre-hung doors from Home Depot New Port Richey, Little Road that was paid for and subcontracted to J&G Installers. They've delivered the the doors but claimed they needed additional material, took notes and measurements to take back to Home Depot to order. I told them I'll pay for any additional material and labor but they never contacted me again. I tried to call them but they never acknowledged anything saying the issue was between me and Home Depot. I went there five times, each time speaking with someone new, they took notes and said they'll contact J&G to coordinate. Weeks went by and nothing, I went down to Home Depot and got the managers name Angie for the Millwork Dept. I called her and left a detailed message, a couple of days she called me back and said that the work could not be completed unless I repair the floors (that was news). I took pictures, from the three different rooms to show that was not true and at no time was this ever brought up. I went down to the store a 6th time and asked for my installation money $675.00 back, the gentlemen noted that it was reversed back to my visa card 45 minutes ago and it will take a few days. Over a week later still nothing. Please do yourself a favor...never deal with J&G Installers sub contractors to Home Depot or their Millwork Dept. or Angie from the Little Road branch, they are unbelievably unprofessional. Ordered a front door from Home Depot. They sub-contracted the job to J&G Carpentry (Tampa Office). Fitting of door delayed because "the fitter was on holiday". He eventually turned up, hung the door and left without completing the job stating there was a part missing. He sent this message via text! The front door could closed or locked shut. We had to finish the job ourselves. Tampa Office NEVER answered the phone during the next two weeks of my calls. Got sick of hearing the answer machine. Shoddy, sub- standard, unproffessional. AVOID at all cost.
