Barry Porter

I made the mistake of paying Barry Porter for twelve projects to be completed on my newly purchased home at the recommendation of my realtor. Barry Porter ruined my house! He didn’t cover anything and tore up a room, ruining the hardwood floor and furniture. He “installed” two sconce lights that were crooked, a hole behind the light showing and the light sticking out from the wall. The live wires were supposed to be installed behind the baseboard, but thank goodness, Barry never got around to installing the baseboard. We were told this would have been a fire hazard and needed to be in the wall cavity according to code. He never worked consistently. He would show up at 6:00 PM, work for an hour, take a 20 minute break, and then leave at 8:20. He always had excuses why he could not show up to work so nothing ever was accomplished. We finally got to the point of cutting our loss before the rest of our home was destroyed. My suggestion is to look further before hiring Barry Porter.

Barry Porter completed interior painting in my home and was very accommodating, honest, friendly, and detail oriented. The house is beautiful and he completed several areas of drywall patches inclusive with the painting for a very reasonable price. One stop shop - he is talented in many traits. I will be saving his information for other home improvements. Thank you for a job well done - highly recommended.
